Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Director:

• Developing strategies and setting priorities to improve medication safety.
• Leading and monitoring medication safety operational activities and development and oversight of performance improvement strategies related to medication safety throughout the Health System.

Minimum Requirements of the Pharmacy Director:

• Successful completion of an Accredited ASHP residency
• 8 years of health system pharmacist experience
• 5 years of experience in a manager or director capacity
