UW Medical Center's - Montlake - Operating Room has an outstanding opportunity for a Part‑time Days‑Health Unit Coordinator.

• Respond to patient and family inquiries in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming and organized unit environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Provide staff, providers, vendors, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communication, including answering phones and triaging team requests.
• Work closely with the charge RN to help manage patient flow, prioritize unit needs, and coordinate admits, transfers, and discharges.
• Coordinate transportation and appropriate paperwork for patient transfers and diagnostic testing.
• Handle unit paperwork, including patient chart maintenance, consent forms, and other documentation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and restock as needed; utilize computer systems such as Epic, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook for communication, documentation, and coordination.
• Partner with all members of the care team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery.
• Other duties as assigned by the department.

• High school graduation or equivalent AND
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR
• An equivalent combination of education/experience.

Pay Range Minimum: $21.39 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $28.83 hourly
