Mammography Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology. This is a screening-only mammography tech position. The role involves performing a variety of radiological technical procedures for breast disease diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting. Responsibilities include producing high-quality radiographic images, interacting with patients in a caring manner, and jointly performing quality control activities required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Depending on the location, the technologist may use general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams. New graduates are encouraged to apply; a 48-hour mammography training course is mandatory before employment.

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography, ARRT upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Mammography within 1 year of hire.
• Prior general radiography experience may be required.

• Two (2) years full-time mammography experience.

Pay Range: $44.06 – $69.55 per hour (base). Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
