Our Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic is the first Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic supporting children and adolescents in WA State! You have the opportunity to be a part of our innovative care model to respond to patients in crisis. Come join our multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to make difference in our community! This position will require working a mix of day/evening shifts as well as Saturdays/Sundays.
ResponsibilitiesPerform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests. Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH).
- Current Interim Certification through WA State can be substituted for up to 12 months from issue date.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
- National Medical Assistant Association Certification (eligible for premium)
- Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization.
$26.51 - $39.76 per hour
Salary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
