Responsibilities
The Senior Device Technician works with physicians, nurses, mid-level providers, and office staff to efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties of a busy outpatient device clinic. Duties include interrogating and assessing implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders, managing remote transmissions, and coordinating care under the clinical supervision of implanting physicians.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Health or a related science field, or equivalent education/experience
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 3 years of prior experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
- Cardiovascular Technician certification (CVT) or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification (CCDS)
- Completion of ATI training
Base pay range: $37.17 - $57.71 per hour. Additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, or bonus opportunities may be available.
