Overview

This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of sonographic examinations across OB/GYN, abdominal, and small‑parts specialties. You’ll work closely with radiologists, providing essential support during invasive procedures and contributing to high‑quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small‑parts imaging.
- Assist radiologists during invasive procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort.
- Conduct abdominal Doppler studies, including evaluations of the liver and liver transplant patients.
- Perform Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams.
- Maintain eligibility for Senior Sonographer status by holding at least one additional certification in Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal Translucency, or Neonatal specialties.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment by assessing patient conditions using information from referring providers, medical records, patient interviews, and personal evaluation.
- Coursework/Training and successful completion of Ultrasound training program — Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
- 2 years of experience as a sonographer.
