Description
Step into a fast‑paced, specialized role where precision, coordination, and patient care come together. As a Certified Medical Assistant/Procedural Scheduler in Heart & Vascular, you’ll support cardiovascular care teams with a strong emphasis on scheduling and coordinating procedures that are essential to patient health outcomes.
- Work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients.
- Perform all aspects of the MA I role and be fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work.
- Perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Coordinate scheduling of cardiovascular procedures and maintain accurate scheduling records.
- Assist the care team with patient preparation, vital sign collection, medication administration, and documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school with hands‑on training in a clinical setting, or
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
- Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of healthcare experience.
- 6 months of medical assistant experience.
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- 1 year of cardiology experience.
- 1 year of outpatient clinic experience.
- 1 year of coordinating diagnostic testing.

Pay Range$26.47 – $40.49 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
