Occupational Therapist

The occupational therapist (OT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of occupational therapy services. Upon referral, the OT performs evaluations and develops individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implements the plans of care, reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, significant others and the patient.

Provision of care for pediatric adolescent orthopedic patients may be required. Coverage of both inpatient and outpatient services may be required at the Ballard and Issaquah clinics. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and supervise occupational therapy services.
  • Perform evaluations and develop individual plans of care.
  • Implement plans of care and reassess treatment results.
  • Actively participate in discharge planning.
  • Collaborate in a team approach with appropriate disciplines, significant others, and patients.
  • Provide care for pediatric adolescent orthopedic patients when required.
  • Cover inpatient and outpatient services at Ballard and Issaquah clinics when required.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Upon hire:
    Washington Occupational Therapist License.
  • Upon hire:
    National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Benefits & Compensation

Compensation includes a base pay range of $48.79 - $75.74, with potential shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
