Nurse Leader Position

The Community Health Services Division of King County's Department of Public Health (DPH) is looking for a talented nurse leader to join the Downtown Public Health Clinic Team. The candidate will be part of Downtown Public Health Clinic Leadership team and will be accountable for the oversight and supervision of the Pathways Clinic, a program that serves vulnerable populations. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about Public Health approaches and harm reduction models of care.

Pathways provides low barrier Medication for Opiate Use Disorder and primary care services for this underserved population. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, quality improvement experience, and strong public health clinical experience. The position reports directly to the Area Manager and is expected to work closely and respond to program management needs. This position will be involved in leading program improvements and evaluation and may provide back-up coverage for other PHSS's within Downtown Public Health Center.

The successful candidate in this position will have overall responsibility for the hiring and daily supervision of a team that may include Public Health Nurses, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Social Workers, and Community Health Workers.
