Job Description
The Medical Assistant III (MA III) assists licensed practitioners in providing patient care. The role encompasses all duties of MA I and MA II, and extends to proactive leadership and mentorship. The MA III serves as an ambassador, change agent, quality champion, and mentor/resource to other Medical Assistants, providing support, guidance, and training as needed.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school with hands‑on clinical training, or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Two years of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting
- Two years of experience providing high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion
- Six months of work experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire

$29.56 – $44.46 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonuses.
