This is a combined posting for an Associate Medical Assistant Certified (Associate MA-C), Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C), and Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R). The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. Role overview and what you’ll be doingAs a Medical Assistant, you’ll help with administrative and clinical tasks like scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs clinical environments foster a feeling of teamwork and provide pathways to leadership for MAs with a desire to advance their careers. This clinic also offers free parking for caregivers!
What will help you succeedYou’ll do well in this role if you enjoy working closely with people and can build strong, respectful relationships with patients and teammates. Being flexible and able to shift priorities as clinic needs change will help you stay effective. Clear communication, attention to detail, and a professional presence are important in every interaction. Comfort using computer systems, staying organized with documentation, and managing multiple tasks will support your day-to-day work.
A proactive mindset, accountability, and a focus on safe, high-quality care will help you grow across levels.
Required Qualifications:

Washington Medical Assistant Registration - Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association - 6 months healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
- Coursework/Training:
Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk

Pay range: $21.35 – $31.98 per hour
Associate Medical Assistant CertifiedRequired Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training:
Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, OR graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, OR has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, OR has minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. - Upon hire:
Washington Medical Assistant Certification - Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association - Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
- 6 months prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment.
- 6 months previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).

Pay range: $22.24 – $33.33 per hour
