Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 0700–1530 or 0730–1600

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered EEG Technologist to operate electroencephalographs and related diagnostic equipment to record the electrical activity of the brain. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians from the Neurology Service and the Epilepsy Center of Excellence to provide critical data for patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently perform routine and specialized EEG and Evoked Potential (EP) procedures, including Awake, Sleep, Portable, and Electrocerebral Silence (ECS) tests.
  • Conduct routine long-term monitoring (LTM/CCTV-EEG) utilizing extended 10/20 electrode placement.
  • Perform high-quality studies in demanding clinical settings, such as the Operating Room (OR), Intensive Care Units (ICU), and research environments.
  • Perform on-line analysis during testing to ensure the collection of necessary data for accurate medical diagnosis.
  • Coordinate patient care activities with other services and maintain professional, courteous communication with patients and staff.
  • Interface with company representatives regarding new techniques and assist with laboratory supply inventory.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of current experience in the field, including recent experience in a hospital setting (inpatient, outpatient, ED, and ICU).
  • Must be registered by the American Board of Registration of EEG, CNIM, and EP Technologists (ABRET) or the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET).
  • Must possess a full, current, and unrestricted license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
  • Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
