DescriptionPerform diagnostic radiological procedures for breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Produce high‑quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
Required Qualifications- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT registry requirements.
- Upon hire:
Washington Radiologic Technologist license. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification. - Upon hire:
National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Within 1 year of hire:
National Registered Technologist – Mammography. - Prior general radiography experience may be required depending on location.
- Two or more years of full‑time mammography experience.
