Company Description Pacific Sports Rehab, PLLC provides holistic rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population, integrating physical and occupational therapy to support comprehensive recovery. The clinic specializes in orthotic fabrication, upper extremity rehabilitation, care for throwing athletes, and musculoskeletal physical medicine. Team members collaborate across disciplines to design individualized treatment plans that focus on functional outcomes and long-term wellness. Role Description The Hand Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist will provide specialized evaluation and treatment for patients with upper extremity conditions, including post-surgical cases, traumatic injuries, and repetitive strain issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing and progressing individualized treatment plans, fabricating and adjusting custom orthoses, and documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with referring providers, clear communication with patients and families, and participation in case conferences as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Seattle, WA, requiring consistent, in-person patient care and teamwork with other clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in Washington State, with Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or eligibility strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation, including post-operative care, tendon and nerve injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Proficiency in orthotic fabrication and splinting techniques for the hand, wrist, and elbow, including assessment for appropriate materials and designs.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills with the ability to perform detailed evaluations, set measurable goals, and modify interventions based on patient response.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients, and coordinating with referring providers.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in an electronic medical record system.
  • Experience or interest in treating athletes, including throwing athletes, and familiarity with sports-related injury prevention and rehabilitation.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and providing inclusive, patient-centered care to individuals of all backgrounds.
