Senior Ultrasound Technologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Job Title

Diagnostic Imaging Sonographer – Per-Diem, Day Shift, on-site at Swedish First Hill, Seattle, WA.

Join a dynamic imaging team performing a wide range of sonographic examinations across OB/GYN, abdominal, and small‑parts specialties. Work closely with radiologists, providing essential support during invasive procedures and contributing to high‑quality patient care.

• Perform OB/GYN, abdominal, and small‑parts sonographic examinations.
• Assist radiologists during invasive procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort.
• Conduct abdominal Doppler studies, including evaluations of the liver and liver transplant patients.
• Perform Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams.
• Maintain eligibility for Senior Sonographer status by holding at least one additional specialty certification.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment by assessing patient conditions from referring providers, medical records, patient interviews, and personal evaluation.

• Successful completion of an ultrasound training program and education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements for the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.
• Upon hire:
  National Registered Technologist – Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer.
