Job Summary

The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and operational management for the MRSS-DD team. This position is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating clinicians and mental health care professionals (MHCPs) while fostering professional development and a high standard of clinical practice. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical consultation, case oversight, and technical assistance to staff, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to agency, contractual, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.

This role collaborates closely with department leadership, community partners, schools, and service agencies to support program goals and participant outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring program performance, analyzing data and outcomes, managing participant feedback and grievances, ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation, and overseeing day-to-day program operations. The Clinical Program Manager supports compliance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC), contract requirements, and YMCA policies and procedures while helping advance the strategic, operational, and programmatic objectives of the regional behavioral health team.

This position also provides operational support to the Senior Director of Behavioral Health programs and serves as a key leader in maintaining high-quality, participant-centered services.

Hiring Range: $80,/yr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm with occasional evening availability as programmatically needed.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise clinical staff (Clinicians, Mental Health Care Professionals (MHCP)) in assigned areas. Provide development and leadership for staff.
  • Provide technical assistance and case consultation to staff while carrying a small caseload of their own.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to provide support and leadership to assigned programs.
  • Compile program statistics and provide data and reports as required. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in program(s).
  • Manage participant feedback and grievances, including follow-up as needed.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools, and agencies related to participant support.
  • Develop, produce, and distribute program information necessary to promote programs, in accordance with branch marketing plans.
  • Assigns cases to supervises and monitors staff documentation and individual case records by utilizing the report in the electronic health records, periodically spot-checking case records from each staff and ensure timely documentation of services and productivity.
  • Support program compliance, including monthly reporting, contract outcomes, and data evaluation, and ensure services are delivered and documented in accordance with WAC and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure that program policies and procedures are followed and that all programs comply with YMCA, contract, accreditation, and all relevant regulations and applicable standards.
  • Ensure that employees in your department are following program procedures, safety requirements, and have clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Directly oversee day-to-day operations as needed, including scheduling, coverage needs, and responding to emergencies.
  • Supports the Clinical Program Director III with the programmatic and operational needs of the regional team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensure as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist through the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Two years work experience as a Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist.
  • Two or more years training and experience providing emergent, skills-focused, intensive, short term crisis intervention for families preferred and/or experience working with youth and families in the Child Welfare System.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience with wraparound, motivational interviewing and solution-focused service delivery models.
