Ultrasound Technologist

This role will involve performing OB and abdominal vascular examinations. Sporadically ordered neonatal exams will also be part of the responsibilities. Candidates should have experience in general ultrasound and performing OB at all levels. Fetal echo and limited abdominal vascular experience are preferred. Procedures and some neonatal experience would also be beneficial. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. No weekend work is required.

Floating within the hospital is expected, but floating to sister hospitals is not required. Travelers may be called off in the event of low census without charge. In instances of low patient volume, healthcare providers may be placed on-call. No call is required for this position. This is a teaching facility with a wide range of patient demographics. The role involves a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal and obstetric imaging.

Special procedures may include ultrasound-guided biopsies and fluid aspirations. EPIC charting experience is essential for this role. Candidates should have experience working with diverse patient groups. References are required for applicants. Modules are to be completed prior to starting the position. Training on specific requirements for working with certain patient populations may be necessary.
