Behavioral Interventionist
Provides behavior intervention and skill development curricula to individuals and families/caregivers of individuals with developmental, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a behavior analytic program. Interventions and curricula may be provided in individual or small group settings under the supervision of a Qualified Healthcare Professional. Collect data on programs and skills, provide oral and written updates on patient progress and assist in discharge planning activities.
Work in collaboration with program leadership on quality improvement, program development and other special projects as appropriate. Provide assistance with training other team members and conducting behavioral assessments.
Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in social sciences, special education, psychology, communication disorders, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum one year of experience working as a Certified Behavior Tech (CBT) or Registered Behavior Tech (RBT) in an applied behavior analytic program and two years of direct treatment services to children and families/caregivers. Minimum two years of experience providing direct treatment services to children and families/caregivers.
Required Credentials WA State Certified Behavior Technician Credential (CBT). Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and/or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) will be accepted in lieu of CBT. Registration as a Nursing Assistant in Washington State within 6 months of employment. Safety Care Cert (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter. Basic Life Support (BLS). Ukeru Training required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.
Preferred Preferred candidates will have bilingual skills. Preferred candidates will have experience working with caregivers and families. Preferred candidates will have experience working with diverse populations. Preferred candidates will have experience navigating multiple hospital systems. Preferred candidates will be credentialed as a RBT through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
Compensation Range
$29.16 - $48.11 per hour
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
