Facilitates a smooth work and patient flow.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs 2D, M-Mode Doppler, and exercise stress echocardiography (Treadmill and Pharmacologic) as directed by physicians
Provides Patient Centered Care through patient education, explanation of processes, and timely test results
Compiles timely reports which are submitted to Cardiologist for analysis and interpretation
Maintains echocardiography equipment. Orders and stocks all echocardiography supplies
Proficient on completing preliminary report form for placement in the Intelispace cardiovascular reporting system
Follows all required infection control procedures
Attends required meetings and participates in professional development
Facilitates and Maintains interdepartmental professionalism and communication You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Completion of a formal accredited Ultrasound training program Meets the requirements for registry by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult Echo and Stress Echo Registry with the ARDMS in Adult Echocardiography within one year of employment if not registered
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound2+ years of cardiac scanning experience with adult patients Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
