Senior Patient Financial Counselor
The Senior Patient Financial Counselor is responsible for insurance and eligibility verifications and assessment of financial requirements of recommended treatments including, but not limited to, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, office visits, integrated supportive care services, and other cancer-related therapy or services. The Senior Patient Financial Counselor counsels the patient on insurance benefits, co-payments, and out of pocket expenses. The Senior Patient Financial Counselor is responsible for obtaining any required preauthorization for procedures, treatments, and admissions and is responsible for obtaining grants and drug assistance programs to support the patient's financial needs and provide access to care.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, business administration, or related field --or-- An equivalent combination of training and experience
- 2 years of prior background in a healthcare setting of billing, financial counseling, or financial advocacy with proficiency in medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, business administration, or related field
