Medical Assistant – Family Medicine
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) required
- Outpatient experience in Family Medicine, Adult, and Pediatric settings required
- At least 6 months MA-C experience preferred; OB experience is a plus
- EPIC charting experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Administer immunizations and perform EKGs
- Conduct phlebotomy and specimen labeling
- Perform urine testing and manage glucometers
- Administer medications and injections (IM/intradermal)
- Basic triage and follow-up care via telephone
Compliance / Notes:
- Local candidate requirement: must live within a specified radius of the facility
- Two references covering recent work are required
- Must request any time off or specific scheduling upfront
