- Food and Nutrition has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time, Dietary Unit Clerk. Full-time, day shift 7am-3:30pm, 5 variable days per week.

Position highlights include processing all patient menus, coordinating food production according to established menus, answering telephone calls from patients and clinical staff, and preparing records and reports.

Primary job responsibilities include presenting and instructing patients and families on the use of the menu and meal ordering process, evaluating patients' ability to participate in the Room Service Program and determining if intervention is needed, asking patients for food allergies or aversions, documenting pertinent patient information, delivering meals to patients, inventory and delivering floor pantry supply, and maintaining cleanliness of pantries and other areas.

Minimum requirements include possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment, high school graduation or GED, and one year of experience as a Dietary Unit Aide in a health care facility or equivalent. One year of additional experience may substitute for the educational requirement. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Pay Range Minimum: $21.40 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $28.00 hourly
