The role oversees healthcare operations, ensuring compliance with US healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and optimizing clinical-administrative workflows. You will partner with clinical leads, IT, and compliance teams to streamline patient data management, vendor contracts, and system operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily healthcare administrative operations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and relevant federal and state healthcare regulations
- Oversee electronic health record (EHR) system administration, data integrity, and cross-functional tooling workflows
- Coordinate vendor relationships, contract renewals, and procurement for medical and administrative services
- Analyze operational KPIs, billing metrics, and patient access workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to design and document standard operating procedures for patient intake and data security
- Prepare audit reports and surface operational risks to executive leadership
- 4-7 years of healthcare administration, operations, or practice management experience within the US healthcare system
- Deep working knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare billing standards (ICD-10, CPT), and EHR platforms (Epic or Cerner)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and healthcare BI reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bonus:
Master of Health Administration (MHA) and experience with remote healthcare team operations
