Hospice Occupational Therapist

Kline Galland Hospice is part of the Kline Galland family of services, a trusted leader in senior care throughout the Seattle area. We provide compassionate, patient-centered care that honors dignity, comfort, and quality of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.

We are seeking a Part time Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary hospice team. This flexible, on-call role is ideal for a licensed OT who is passionate about enhancing quality of life through therapeutic support. You will provide in-home care to hospice patients, helping them maintain comfort, independence, and dignity in their own environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support mobility, safety, and function
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
  • Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and physicians
  • Document services and progress in accordance with hospice standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and holistic care planning
Qualifications:
  • Current Washington State license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or geriatrics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Compassionate approach to end-of-life care
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes or facilities
