American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of high-risk OB and maternal fetal experience for a 13-week contract.
Requirements- Current BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- NT certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- High risk OB and maternal fetal experience required
- Experience with fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, and amniotic fluid index
- Skilled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasound assessments
- Experience with umbilical cord doppler, placenta previa, and multiple pregnancy scans
- Experience with transvaginal and vaginal ultrasound procedures
- Amniocentesis and vascular doppler studies experience preferred
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred
- Maternal Fetal Medicine and High Risk OB work setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
- Perform comprehensive maternal fetal ultrasound imaging including fetal anatomy, growth, and Doppler studies
- Does not accept first-time travelers
- Previous Providence permanent staff eligible to return as travelers after a 3 month separation period and if living outside a 50 mile radius of the facility
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
