Surgical Neurophysiologist - IOM Technologist

Job Description

Performs all modalities of Neurophysiology/Neurovascular and other Intraoperative Monitoring with minimal supervision. Tasks include cerebellopontine angle tumor surgery, intracranial tumor and aneurysm surgery/procedures, spinal surgeries including surgery for spinal deformity, thoracic aortic aneurysm surgery, and peripheral nerve surgeries. Participates in development, selection, and implementation of software and procedures needed to provide optimal monitoring. Provides adequate recordings, troubleshoots technical problems, and keeps surgeons and IOM physicians informed of any significant changes, including loss of waveforms being monitored.

• Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Neuroscience preferred
• Upon hire:
  National Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring credential
• Experience with networking and computer programming

• Master's Degree in a scientific discipline related to the biological sciences, especially Neuroscience
• 2 years of Intraoperative Monitoring experience
• Experience in neurophysiology and neuroanatomy

Full time
Pay Range: $44.35 - $68.86
