Under general supervision, operates and maintains densitometer. Interacts with patients, conducts testing, analyzes data, and produces data reports. Responsible for quality control testing and correspondence related to laboratory functions.

- Performs DEXA scans on patients for osteoporosis
- Proficient at gathering all pertinent patient clinical history for interpreting physician
- Develops scanning protocols for DEXA exams
- Maintains DEXA equipment to meet a high level of clinical performance including software upgrades
- Recognizes inaccurate exam data, software and hardware failures
- Manages DEXA patient schedule, accommodates emergent exams and add Ons

- Must follow written and oral instructions and complete routine tasks independently
- Complete all compliance training, including but not limited to HIPAA/Privacy/Confidentiality/Non-Discrimination/Harassment/Integrity Statement and signed Agreements
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information by following HIPAA guidelines and organization policies
- Attends training to meet job position requirements and as needed or mandated by organization policies, Div. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I, and other state/federal regulations
- Have regular and predictable attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma, or GED
- Washington State Radiologic
