• Provide excellent customer service to our patients at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
• Recieve and make calls to schedule appointments.
  • For Surgery practices, you will schedule surgical cases by communicating with surgeons, hospitals, and patients.
• Check patients in and out, collect copays, verify insurance and collect demographics.
• Process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
  • EPIC experience is very helpful!
• Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to:
  Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.
