What You’ll Do- Conduct school-based OT evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop individualized, functional IEP goals
- Provide individual and small-group occupational therapy
- Support fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation needs
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Consult with teachers and paraprofessionals on accommodations and strategies
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary school teams
- Maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- NBCOT certification (OTR) in good standing
- Active Washington OT license, or documented initiation of licensure transfer
- Knowledge of IDEA, the IEP process, and the educational model of occupational therapy
- School-based experience, sensory integration training, and experience with AAC or assistive technology are preferred.
