Supervisor Anesthesia

The Anesthesia Supervisor is a key team member who is responsible for ensuring customer and patient support and coordination for a smooth efficient case turnover cross-campus (First Hill and Cherry Hill). The Anesthesia Supervisor works as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a manager, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years as an anesthesia technician in an operating room with demonstrated leadership skills and handling equipment.

• Associate’s Degree in Certificate of completion from an academic program, Anesthesia Technology A.A.S. degree.
• Certified Anesthesia Technician
  - American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians upon hire or
• Certified Anesthesia Technologist
  - American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians upon hire
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating or coordinating in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the development, education and precepting of caregivers in a highly technical and dynamic environment.
