Patient Engagement Specialist

The Patient Engagement Specialist supports patient recruitment for a multi-site U.S. clinical research network. This remote, call center–based role serves as the first point of contact for potential study participants, conducting outreach, telephone prescreening, and scheduling in-office screening visits while ensuring a positive, patient-centered experience.

• Conduct outbound and inbound calls, texts, and emails with potential participants
• Prescreen patients using standardized scripts and document interactions in CTMS (Real Time)
• Schedule qualified participants for screening visits and coordinate handoff to site staff
• Confirm appointments, provide visit preparation details, and reduce no-shows
• Meet daily/weekly outreach and scheduling goals
• Maintain HIPAA, GCP, and privacy compliance

• 1+ year experience in patient recruitment, call center, customer service, or healthcare
• Strong communication, empathy, and attention to detail
• Comfortable with CRM/CTMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
