Job Description

Make an impact supporting students’ communication needs for the  academic year in beautiful western Washington! Dynamic speech-language pathologists are sought for immediate contract openings across elementary, middle, and high school levels. These onsite positions invite you to engage and collaborate directly with school communities, providing critical services and fostering student growth.

You’ll work in a positive educational environment, joining new and returning staff as they deliver meaningful interventions and support to students. Full-time schedules are available, allowing you to work a consistent 37.5 hours per week from September through mid-June.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Washington SLP license or willingness to obtain one prior to start
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Ability to pass fingerprinting through OSPI, or ready to complete the process
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable providing solely onsite (no virtual) therapy and assessments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech/language therapy services to students across grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal requirements
