** has an outstanding opportunity for a
** Materials Handling Aide 2** (Temp).
** WORK SCHEDULE
*** 100% FTE
* Monday through Friday
* 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
* This is a fixed duration appointment, anticipated to be 12 months in duration
** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
** UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
** POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
*** Put away supplies into clean rooms, carts, and other supply locations utilizing proper rotation
* Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items
* Pick supplies utilizing a Zebra Handheld device for tech orders
* Check various supply locations for product expiration dates and removal according to policy
* Perform basic disinfection, storage, and distribution of minor equipment
** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Deliver supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies
* Perform issues and credits in Workday, ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately
* Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs
* Manage rental equipment, including rounding in nursing areas, verifying correct charges, ordering needed equipment, and discontinuing unneeded equipment
* Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests
** REQUIREMENTS
* * High school graduation AND 6 months of supply chain experience

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
