** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
*** Coordination and monitoring of staff, scheduling systems, payroll and timekeeping systems, educational tracking systems and other systems that support the Nurse Manager
* Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members
* Interviewing and recommending the selection of candidates
* Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management
* Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the unit
* Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Health Unit Coordinator and other assigned staff
* Managing, collecting and reporting of unit data
* Other assigned duties
* ** REQUIREMENTS
* ** Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field
* AND Four years of experience as a Health Unit Coordinator
* OR High School graduation or equivalent and four years experience as a Health Unit Coordinator and a UW Supervisory Skill Certificate.
* Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
