American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of OB/GYN and maternal fetal experience for a 13-week contract.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS, NT, and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Maternal Fetal and OB/GYN experience required
- Skills in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
- Experience with fetal abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, diaphragm, head, and heart imaging
- Experience with amniocentesis and Doppler vascular studies preferred
- Experience with GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system preferred
- Experience in high risk OB and maternal fetal medicine settings preferred
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred
- Experience with transvaginal, renal/pelvis, uterus, and vaginal imaging
Responsibilities
- Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- No call requirements
- No floating required within the primary facility, though travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Perform maternal fetal and OB/GYN ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Assignment includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent employees of any Providence facility (other than the specific hiring facility) are eligible if separated for at least 3 months
- All Providence facilities honor active compact licenses
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position
- Minimal RTO requests preferred; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
