Supervisor of Clinical Laboratory Operations at Adaptive, overseeing daily personnel management and ensuring high-quality processing of research and clinical diagnostic samples in a CLIA/CAP/NYS/FDA-certified lab. Objectives include maintaining regulatory compliance, optimizing lab workflows, and supporting team development.
Responsibilities- supervise laboratory staff
- coordinate specimen processing utilizing molecular biology techniques (DNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, NGS)
- monitor equipment and quality metrics
- handle incident investigations
- support regulatory adherence per GMP, GCP, and GLP standards
- BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Sciences with 4+ years of molecular lab experience, including 1+ year in high-complexity clinical testing
- MS with 2+ years of relevant experience
- molecular biology expertise
- ability to work independently and manage a complex team
Preferred: 2+ years at Adaptive, team/shift lead experience, ASCP(MB) certification.
High-value specifics: focus on molecular diagnostics, high-complexity testing, clinical lab management, and regulatory compliance within an innovative biotech setting.
ScheduleWed-Sat 9:30am-8:00pm; work involves handling biological specimens, chemicals, and biohazards with flexibility for extended hours.
