This is an hourly position located at the 97‑room Kimpton Palladian Hotel in Seattle, Washington.

Location

Located on the seam of Belltown and the retail core, the 97‑room Kimpton Palladian Hotel is within walking distance of landmarks like Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and Seattle’s best new restaurants. The hotel features contemporary furnishings, luxe amenities, and a celebrated dining experience.

Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
  • Complete all pre‑cleaning duties, including setting up the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
  • Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  • Restock the housekeeping cart for the next day’s use.
  • Replenish chemical bottles.
  • Report missing items from a room (e.g., irons, hair dryers) to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to standards.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner.
