Join our team as an Area Event Sales Manager supporting Hyatt Regency Seattle, Grand Hyatt Seattle, and Hyatt at Olive 8. In this role you will sell and service event space, focusing on banquet food & beverage and meeting room rental. Your responsibilities include full event lifecycle management – from selling spaces and menu planning to onsite management and billing. You will also drive business development and client relations.

Responsibilities
  • Sell and service event spaces for banquet food & beverage and meeting rooms.
  • Plan menus, agendas, diagrams, and detail all food, beverage, and A/V needs.
  • Act as the single point of contact for meeting planners and hotel staff.
  • Manage onsite event execution and final billing reviews.
  • Develop new business opportunities and pursue sales targets.
Qualifications
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent customer service, relationship building, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in hotel event sales, planning, or comparable roles.
  • Proficiency in general computer use.
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong time‑management and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded.
Salary

The salary range for this position is $80,170.00 to $109,800. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on experience, qualifications, and education.
