Position Summary

The role of the Room Attendant is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction by providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and safe room. The Radisson Seattle‑Tacoma is looking for an energetic individual to join our Housekeeping team as a PM Room Attendant. Our Room Attendants are at the heart of what we do! This position requires availability day and weekend/holiday shifts. Pay

Hourly Wage: $20.74.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture if required, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Maintain cleaning protocols.
  • Empty all trash containers and replace liners.
  • Restock usable items in guest rooms or suites – soap, towels, amenities, paper items.
  • Ensure removal and appropriate disposition of guest room trays, glass, and silverware.
  • Clean and vacuum exterior entry and hallways.
  • Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized.
  • Ensure guest laundry and dry‑cleaning orders are attended to promptly.
  • Notify supervisor promptly of any special guestroom or suite issues, including reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Promptly handle guest complaints or requests and refer to supervisor if unable to handle.
  • Ensure that all rooms or suites are secured upon leaving the guest room or suite.
  • Provide the Radisson experience, demonstrating genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service.
  • Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems.
  • Provide "Yes I Can!" genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
  • Remember to notice when guests are not satisfied and use best judgment when using the 100% Guest Satisfaction system.
  • Perform additional duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year hospitality experience in housekeeping.
  • Follows instructions and communicates effectively.
  • Works well independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Can clean multiple room types and meet the daily cleaning quota.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
Physical Demands
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pull, push up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to squat, bend, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Other Information

The hotel business operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Associates must be prepared for shift changes and dynamic duties as business dictates.
