Job Overview

The Edgewater Hotel is looking for an Overnight Security Officer to join the team.

• Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees and to minimize opportunities for loss or damage.
• Anticipates potential problems and reacts to disturbances and prohibited conduct. Responds to emergency situations as needed.
• In conjunction with the Night Auditor, Security fulfills all guest requests during the overnight shift. Works outdoors and indoors. This position is always scheduled for graveyard hours.
• Previous hotel security and/or guest services experience is highly desired. Previous night audit experience is a plus.

$29.22/hr

• Excellent driving record
• Fluency in English both verbal and written
• Attention to detail is a must
• Need to have ability to prioritize, organize and follow up, be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment, understand guest needs, work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
