Assistant Restaurant General Manager – Full Time
Position located at Goldfinch Tavern, part of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience.
About the PositionThe Assistant Restaurant General Manager reports to the Goldfinch Tavern General Manager and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work of employees while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the F&B division to ensure established cultural and core standards are met and to carry out daily operations and outlet planning.
- Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns, or special requests from guests and group contacts.
- Ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory management, and cash control.
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment, and recommend corrections or improvements as needed.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
- Bachelor’s degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management.
- Minimum two years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage, including oversight of multiple outlets and departments.
- Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
- Ability to operate computer equipment and food & beverage computer systems, including MICROS, Microsoft Office, Open Table, labor management, and payroll systems.

- Annual salary: $83,000 – $85,000.
