Overnight Lobby/Laundry Attendant
The Element by Marriott Seattle Downtown is looking for an overnight Lobby/Laundry attendant to join our team. We are managed by Puget Sound Hospitality which owns and operates 6 hotels in the Puget sound area.

DetailsSalary range: $24.45 - $24.45 per hour
Location: 601 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109.
Commute/Transportation: We are located near several bus routes and offer a discounted annual ORCA pass. If you prefer to drive, we offer free parking to all of our employees in our underground garage.
Benefits: Our benefits package is available to full time employees after they complete 60 days of employment. This package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D. We also have 6 paid holidays.
PTO is accrued at 0.0538 hours per hour starting on day 1 of employment.
We partner with Colonial life to offer supplemental insurance options such as accident, short term disability, and whole life during our annual enrollment.
We have a 401(K) retirement plan available to all employees who are 21+ and have been employed for 6 months.
We offer Marriott employee room rates as well as Marriott friends and family room rates that can be used based on availability at any Marriott location worldwide.
Work shiftsThis is an overnight/graveyard shift.
The daily job dutiesClean all public and back of the house areas according to brand standards. Process laundry according to standards. This position requires attention to detail and strong communication skills in order to provide the best possible product to our guests.

- Process linen and terry to include pre-treating stains, washing, drying, folding and stocking clean linen on the shelves.
- Fulfilling guest requests
- Assist guests with luggage
- Fulfill front desk requests
- Knowing and providing information about property facilities
- Knowing how to listen, apologize, and get help when guests encounter problems
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards
- Communicate with front desk and security over a 2-way radio
- Delivering amenities and linen to guests upon request
- Setting up baby cribs, and sofa beds
- Cleaning guest rooms upon request
- Using special equipment and machines safely
- Use chemicals following the proper procedures and safety equipment
- Provide the best possible customer service to our guests
- Maintain a positive attitude during difficult or stressful situations
- Ability to multi-task and fulfill several demands in a short time frame
- Assist with any security related issues
- Report any unsafe work practices
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs, stand, squat, bend, and push cleaning machines and/or carts. Must be able to follow and complete a detailed checklist each shift.

- Must have strong communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
