Panty Chefs at Lindblad Expeditions play a vital role in the shipboard galley team, preparing cold food items and maintaining kitchen sanitation for guests and crew. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position in a remote, at-sea environment, ideal for adaptable individuals who thrive in close-knit teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and excited by the adventure of expedition travel.

• Competitive daily wage: $155–$165 per day (includes base rate and guaranteed gratuities)
• Pays tips above the $50 minimum directly to you
• Paid training and assistance obtaining required certifications during onboarding
• Opportunity to work in remote, pristine locations aboard a fleet of 20 ships
• Shared crew accommodations onboard

• Minimum 1 year of recent cooking and/or food service experience
• Good verbal communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented, strong follow-through, and able to work independently
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work 12–14 hour days, every day, for 8-week rotations at sea
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
• US Passport or US Permanent Resident Card and valid passport
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification (current)
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• STCW Crowd Management
• USCG Medical Certificate
• Maritime Security Awareness
• Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical examination

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Creativity and initiative in completing tasks
