The Charter Hotel Seattle JOB SUMMARY Under supervision, cleans and services assigned guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment that meets Company cleanliness and quality standards, while delivering excellent guest service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCleans and services assigned guest rooms, including bathrooms, in accordance with Company standards and procedures.

Makes beds, changes linens, and restocks amenities, towels, and other guest supplies.

Dusts, vacuums, and sanitizes room surfaces, fixtures, furnishings, and floors.

Removes trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and replenishes cleaning supplies on the housekeeping cart.

Inspects rooms for cleanliness, damage, and proper working order of amenities and equipment.

Reports maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.

Responds promptly and courteously to guest requests during shift.

Follows proper procedures for handling and reporting lost and found items.

Adheres to all safety and chemical handling guidelines when using cleaning products and equipment.

Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality is a key component of this position.

Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards; wears the appropriate uniform or attire.

Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management.

Attends and participates in team meetings.

Adheres to established safety and emergency procedures and protocols, this includes Company, federal, and state specific regulations and guidelines.

Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.

Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE No prior experience or training required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.

Basic math skills.

Basic knowledge of Gmail/Microsoft Outlook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSClimbing:
