A Banquet Steward/Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware for our banquet functions, as well as transporting culinary offerings from the kitchens to the event spaces. This person must have great verbal and written communication skills and basic mathematical reasoning. Refined organizational skills and strong time management skills are vital to this role, working alongside our Culinary and Banquets team in ensuring events are executed flawlessly.

In addition, this individual must be able to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight (50lbs). This is a fast paced position that will involve constant teamwork interactions.

The hourly rate for this position is $28.20/hour to $29.78/hour. The starting rate for this position is $28.20/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in this position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is currently offered at $28.76/hour. This position may also have a lead role, based on experienced, at $29.20/hour. For those colleagues who have remained as a lead steward for four years or more with Hyatt, the established rate is currently $29.78/hour.
