We’re looking for a highly organized and people‑focused Recruiting & Payroll Assistant to support both our hiring operations and payroll/benefits administration. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys helping employees, and brings strong attention to detail to every task.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of job postings, including creating, submitting, and tracking requisitions
- Ensure all required approvals are in place before posting roles
- Support a smooth hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers
- Draft job postings, email communications, and other recruiting materials
- Assist with onboarding and new‑hire paperwork
- Provide administrative support to the Payroll & Benefits team
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee questions about paychecks, benefits, and general HR inquiries
- Coordinate with a third‑party payroll provider
- Manage incoming payroll/benefits tickets, including VOEs
- Maintain accurate employee records and update information as needed
- Support HR with LOA cases by gathering and providing necessary data (not the primary LOA owner)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree OR 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or Paycom
- Preferred - Ability to problem‑solve and think analytically
- Active listening skills and a patient, approachable demeanor
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
