YOU WILL- Source, attract, select, and recruit top talent candidates using various outlets such as Linked In and applicant tracking systems such as Handshake and Jobsoid.
- Focus efforts on talent acquisition strategies to bring qualified candidates for each open position.
- Seek out and recommend creative new ways of sourcing talent.
- Conduct the first interview and schedule the second interview with the team leader.
- Administer all hiring paperwork for new Teammates and assist with the orientation process.
- Be the main point of contact for new Teammates.
- Update Teammate bios, create and update profiles of Teammates.
- Train new Teammates and guide them through our onboarding and recruiting processes.
- Handle employment verification and letters of recommendation.
- Attend team meetings as needed.
- Able to bring talented candidates to help Positive Masculinity grow!
- Passionate about the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing candidates to progressing through the onboarding process.
- Open-minded and have a solid commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Great communicator and can express sympathy and friendliness to new candidates and team members.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, and organized.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication, email etiquette, the internet, and MS Office.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to attend video meetings whenever needed.
- Tech-savvy and own a computer with reliable access to the internet.
- Attaining high-level skills and experience, which in turn helps you increase your earning potential, reach your career goals, and find more rewarding jobs.
- Receiving mentoring on your Linked In Profile (and thus, your resume), interviewing skills, professional goals, and how to manage your career.
- Participating in collaboration sessions with our Teammates and team leadership.
- Being exposed to the behind-the-scenes of a one-of-a-kind start-up organization.
- Gaining access to various training materials on gender education and other topics worth thousands of dollars. You will also have opportunities to work with a seasoned mentoring professional in Mac McGregor.
- Receiving a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals from our Employment Verification team upon completing your 200-hour internship. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit if needed.
- Must be a citizen of the U.S or Canada.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Does not hold a visa or need sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be in the United States for the entire internship period, 200 hours.
- 18 years or older.
- Fluent in English speaking and writing.
- Have a reliable computer, laptop (not a chromebook), and internet.
- Be able to commit 10 hours a week.
- Not currently in an internship.
This internship is a virtual/remote opportunity, which means you don’t have to deal with traffic or sit in a stuffy office! Instead, you can work in any comfortable environment you so choose!
