Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our organization by attracting, hiring, and onboarding exceptional employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and creating a positive candidate experience from application through hire.
As a Recruiting Specialist, you’ll partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process while helping ensure our hiring practices reflect ARC’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and community.
About Associated Recreation Council: ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities.
Schedule- Full-Time (30 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule based on business needs
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for hiring events
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for positions across the organization.
- Create and post job advertisements on multiple recruiting platforms.
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and outreach.
- Screen applications and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offer letters and support onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate applicant records in the applicant tracking system.
- Attend career fairs and community hiring events.
- Develop recruiting strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates.
- Assist with additional Human Resources projects as assigned.
- Two or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related Human Resources experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
