Human Resource Specialist
Leverages U.S. Inc. (former Global Career Partners, Inc.) is a recruiting agency specializing in companies headquartered in Japan in Northwest. A Japanese based Precision equipment manufacturer is seeking candidates for Human Resource Specialist. No Japanese skill is required.
Hybrid:
After training, 2 days/week remote and 3 days/week in person.
- Execute timely and accurate processing of payroll for approximately 40+ exempt and non‑exempt employees. Assistance with gross‑up calculation.
- Conduct background checks for new hires, enroll employees in health insurance and 401(k) retirement plan.
- Handle termination process, removal from health insurance and 401(k) retirement plan.
- Communicate with HR consultants and employment lawyers to resolve HR issues.
- Maintain personnel files.
- Handle HSA fund transfer and provide assistance with employee benefit inquiries.
- Manage 401(k) activities and interact directly with the provider to ensure proper handling of enrollment, distributions, rollovers, and payroll contributions.
- Respond promptly to payroll requests and resolve employee issues.
- Verify I‑9 documents and maintain employment authorization files.
- Order supplies for employees and the office.
- Handle building maintenance projects and inspections.
- Maintain employee time‑off records.
- Perform other HR and administrative requests from Management as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep expertise in 401(k) and benefit design.
- Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
- A proactive, thoughtful, and timely approach to communication, analysis, and problem‑solving.
Full‑time
Pay$67,725.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Bachelor’s (Required)
