What you'll be doing...- Manage the Field Service team including hiring, training and scheduling
- Meet with plan participants, union representatives, and employers to explain pension plan eligibility, participation requirements, benefits, and plan provisions.
- Conduct individual and group meetings to assist participants with benefit applications, retirement options, and eligibility questions.
- Review and process complex benefit inquiries and applications, obtaining additional documentation when needed.
- Prepare benefit appeals, denial letters, and correspondence by interpreting plan provisions and documenting case recommendations.
- Respond to participant inquiries by phone and in writing, providing guidance on benefits, eligibility, and appeal procedures.
- Prepare management reports and support special projects and process improvements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experienced. 2+ years’ experience in the benefits field
- Educated. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leader. Proven ability to influence others to get work done
- Effective Communicator. Demonstrates clear, professional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Traveler. Ability to travel including overnight stays

If hired, you can expect...- Starting salary range of $6,685 - $9,045 per month. Pay depends on experience, skills, and qualifications.
